Fantasy Cave              As featured on TV.  This Cave is unique in New Zealand. It is built and operated entirely by volunteers. First opened in 1989, it has expanded over the years with displays constantly changing. The volunteers, called cave dwellers have set up beautiful fantasy displays, both static and moving. Includes the local Model Railway Club

Dave s Den and Pauline s Art Studio             363 High Street.   Over 6,500 diecast toys on display.  Mainly matchbox, Liedo and Trax.  Pauline paints in both water and oil, photographs of her painting are made into postcards.

Dannevirke Scandinavian Club email: Dick McAvinue      The club fosters and promotes the social, cultural educational and historical aspects of Scandinavian Heritage.

Dannevirke Golf Club                Dannevirke (voted Armstrong Jones Golf Show, Country course of the year 2001.    5km South of Dannevirke.   Facilities: 4 carts for hire. Caterers Tues/Wed/Sat/Sun Shop and Bar same.  Green Fees: $15 affiliated members  $20 unaffiliated.         Ph 374 8248

Regent Picture Theatre       NZ s oldest cinema, started in 1918. Later Refurbished.  Building features in the brochure of Tararua Branch Historic Places Trust.

Sale Yards             The stock sale yards are in town if you would like to see a sale in action.  Every Thursday starting 10.30am.

Honeybourne Miniatures  email  Miniature horse stud,  Visitors are welcome to view by prior appointment.  Also home to purebred Belted Galloway cattle. 374-5352
